What is this program?
Dora Ambassadors are enthusiastic volunteers who teach and share Dora with others.
Hailing from around the world, our ambassadors host events, lead groups, create content, build and share Dora templates, and so much more.
What it means to be a Dora Ambassador
- Becoming a Dora Ambassador means joining a passionate community dedicated to teaching and sharing knowledge about Dora. You'll contribute through:
- Community building. Community building involves creating and managing user groups online and globally, organizing workshops, courses, and webinars, and hosting virtual and local events.
- Content creation. Content creation involves producing resources like templates, videos, and translations.
- As a Dora Ambassador, you have the autonomy to shape your journey, with the support of the Dora team. You manage your communities, with the Dora team's endorsement and promotion. Dora will endorse your communities on our official Community page. The content you create is yours, and Dora respects your ownership.
- Participation is voluntary. We understand that you have many commitments outside of ambassador duties. If at any point you no longer want to participate, please let us know. There will never be any hard feelings.
- You can use your position and skills to earn money, and many Ambassadors already do this through courses and freelancing. We support this, but transparency is key. Our partner program, which connects certified partners to client work, is a separate program (to be launched in August).
Two key commitments
- Teach and Share Dora: As a Dora Ambassador, you have the freedom to choose the approach that excites you the most in teaching and sharing Dora. Activities can include organizing webinars, running user groups, assisting with language translation, creating templates, producing YouTube videos, or building a resource website. We kindly ask Ambassadors to dedicate 2-3 hours every quarter to serve the community.
- Connect and Share: Ambassadors are expected to participate actively in our private Slack group by posting and commenting at least once a week. This collaborative community thrives on shared knowledge and improvement. Members are encouraged to share their learnings, creations, and seek feedback while also offering assistance to fellow members. Dora’s core members will also be actively involved in the Slack group, engaging in discussions and sharing insights to foster growth and collaboration within the community.
